El Borgia was a two-man-project (drummer Jari and guitarist Timo) for a long time before it reached the final line-up in february 2007.
The guitar-and-drum-sector had been jamming together since forever and after getting a rehearsal
room in Oulu "the time was ripe" to complete the line-up.
Iitu (vocals) was a friend of a friend of someones girlfriend and well-known for her vocal-work with the band Joint Depression.
After a short phonecall and a quick meeting Iitu was in.
Samuli (bass) was brought to attention via muusikoiden.net. After a short email correspondence and test-jam-session Samuli joined the group.

We have tried to stay away from genre determinations but the songs tend to develop towards melodic metal.
